How much do your cigarettes cost?
Estimate daily cigarette spending, a 30-day month, one year and a longer period using your own prices.
Editable example figures. No official market price is used.
Your estimated spending
An estimate built from your own figures.
Enter your daily cigarette consumption, cigarettes per pack and the price you pay. The initial example is editable and is not a market-price survey. Zero consumption and a zero price are valid inputs.
The monthly budget uses 30 days and the annual budget uses 365 days. These conventions are shown in the results: multiplying the monthly figure by twelve will therefore not exactly match the annual total. Calculations retain precision; displayed amounts are rounded to two decimal places.
| Result | Formula |
|---|---|
| Per day | Daily cigarettes ÷ cigarettes per pack × pack price |
| 30-day month | Daily cost × 30 |
| 365-day year | Daily cost × 365 |
| Several years | Daily cost × 365 × number of years |
What this budget includes.
The result covers only the cigarettes entered. It does not add accessories, travel or other products. The projection assumes constant consumption and price: it does not forecast price increases, inflation or investment returns.
The selected currency labels the amounts you enter. Changing it does not convert a price into another currency. To compare two budgets, keep the same units and change only the assumption you want to examine.
